FCI-certified with excellent hips and elbows, and completely clear of degenerative myelopathy (DM) along with all other common genetic diseases. Elia is an AKC-registered female bred from German working and show lines, with a pedigree that puts real weight on conformation, pigment, movement and temperament rather than any one of them alone. She is the daughter of Hachiko vom Messina — the USA #2 male and a two-time VA-rated dog who has ranked among the elite in both Germany and the United States — and Aryia von der Zwei-Schaefer Haus, who took #1 Female in the USA in her class in 2023 along with multiple first-place finishes under German judges. Behind them sit influential and proven lines including VA Nero v. Ghattas and VA3 BSZS Marlo von Baccara, which is about as well-established a foundation as the breed offers.
